Anchor subscribers get 26 issues per year of this award-winning newspaper of the Archdiocese of Anchorage. We focus on telling the stories, in words and photographs, of the local church in Southcentral Alaska, but also provide readers with national and international news of particular interest to Catholics. Each issue also offers at least three pages of op-ed commentary, and several pages worth of business and church advertising. The Anchor is mailed to subscribers every other week.
The parishes of the Anchorage Archdiocese pay for the subscriptions of each of their registered families. The archdiocese pays for Catholics within its boundaries who are not registered in a parish. Others may subscribe for $22 per year. Please send your name, mailing address, phone number, $22 (make checks payable to “Catholic Anchor”) and a note explaining that you would like to subscribe.
